The Pending judge application will go to a peer review committee for approval, the peer review committee will consider your application based on your answers and allocate you to either Judge or Provisional Judge.

You may choose your preference on the form then the review committee will make the final decision

An ordinary member has full access to events and information but would not be asked to judge any photography.

An ordinary member may request to be upgraded to provisional judge status at any time within reason.

Membership for Clubs affiliated with the West Australian Photographic Federation.

Camera clubs need to nominate a member, usually their competition director as the clubs representative and clubs will be able to request a judge for an upcoming competition via the forms provided on this website.

Organisation membership is available to groups other than camera clubs that have a need to use the services of photography judges.

eg Shires, corperates running competitions other groups running potographic competitions.

Panel Judging will require a service fee as follows

Four member panel (3 Judges and an adjudicator) - fee $100

Six member panel ( 5 judges and an adjudicator)- $200

Plus an additional fee of $20 per 100 images
